Redbud Gloves Pattern

The Redbud Gloves were inspired by the spectacular redbud trees that bloom in the springtime in Oklahoma. These beautifully patterned gloves are knitted in the round with 2 colors of fingering weight yarn, making a double layer that will keep your hands extra warm. The gloves are knitted from a chart but detailed written instructions are also included with the pattern.

Gauge: 34 sts & 36 rows = 4” in stockinette Fair Isle pattern

Finished Measurements:

  • 7" circumference at cuff
  • 8 ⅜"" circumference at widest part of hand
  • 10 ½" total length (cuff to tip of middle finger) 

Materials Used: Fingering (#1 super fine).  Shown here: Knit Picks Palette (100% wool; 231y / 50g):

  • Color A- Hazelnut, 1 ball (about 140 yards total)
  • Color B- Cosmopolitan,1 ball (about 140 yards total) 

Needle Size: GUAGE NEEDLE: U.S. size 2 (2.75 mm) dpns.  EDGING: one size smaller than Guage Needles
