The Rad Radish socks are a fun pair of socks for any avid gardener. For wearing while pottering around the garden, allotment, balcony or even inspecting your seedlings on the windowsills. These are the socks to have while taking care of your plants.
Can radish socks be really rad? I think so! The excitement when you see a glimpse of the green radish leaves poking up from your boots (or poking out from under the toe from your sandals!) is perfectly rad! Radishes are about my level of difficulty of vegetable growing and I just wanted to create a pair of cozy socks dedicated to this beautiful and simple veg. And I guarantee that you will feel the same joy knitting and completing these socks, as you will when you see the first seedlings growing in Spring.
These socks are knit from the cuff down with a ribbed cuff and an eye of partridge heel flap and gusset, and they have a section of colorwork on the leg and a section before the toe. Knit for magic loop, but these socks can be knit with DPNs or 9 inch circulars.
