International shipping can take a little longer to arrive than domestic, however you have the option to choose expedited shipping at checkout if you prefer.

Free domestic shipping everyday on orders over $50.
$6.99 flat rate domestic shipping on orders $50 or below.

Tracking
When your package is shipped, you’ll receive a email that will allow you to track it in transit. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking code to update. U.S. addresses usually receive the package within two to four business days.
Canadian addresses, because of customs, can be anywhere from 5 to 14 days. If you think there’s a problem, please send an email to orders@SmittenYarnCo.com. Please have your order number handy.

The Knitting Stitch Handbook is a comprehensive gallery of more than 250 stitches, ranging from the easiest purl stitch to the most complex intarsia pattern.
Yarns, needles, ball bands, and and other equipment are explained in detail, with guided instructions on purchasing. Stitches like the knit and purl, rib, cable, bobble, lace, fair isle, and intarsia stitches are all explained with photographs and charts to guide knitters of all levels. Abbreviations are defined in the index, and chart symbols are clearly explained to make it easy to follow along.
Knitting knowledge has traditionally been passed on directly from one generation to another. In recent years, a renewed interest in knitting has blossomed; many young knitters are discovering that this craft can be used to create fashionable garments. Knitting can be fun, creative, useful, and extraordinarily therapeutic.
The Knitting Stitch Handbook, with its broad range of designs in seven different types of knitting, is structured to meet the needs of all knitters, from beginners to the more accomplished.
Maria Parry-Jones has a lifelong love of knitting and has worked as both a knitwear designer and design consultant for several clothing companies and yarn manufacturers.

Return Policies
We want you to be delighted with anything you receive from us. You may return any SYC purchase in its original condition within 30 days from original purchase date for a full refund. Please note that wound yarn or sale items cannot be returned. Return postage is not covered.

Classes & Maker Groups
To sign up for a class, please pre-register through our online listings to reserve your space. Payment must be received at time of registration. Classes must have a minimum of 3 students and refunds are available up to 48 hours before the first class session. In fairness to the teachers and other students who have purchased their supplies, we are unable to make refunds after that time. Our curriculum is written for adults and children over the age of 12.
Supplies are needed for most classes and a supply list is listed on each class page or will be furnished when you register. For most classes, supply kits will be available for purchase. We would appreciate it if you select Smitten Yarn co. for your supplies.
Lastly, to keep our teachers and students safe we ask that you liberally apply hand sanitizer upon entry, wear a mask entering, standing or walking around the studio. While seated you may remove your mask if you choose. We sanitize the shop and have a HEPA air filter going 24/7 in the classroom area. Due to student and teacher allergies, please refrain from wearing perfumes and scented lotions to class. We look forward to having you, meeting new friends and having a wonderful time together making!
