A beautiful intarsia quilt designed by Dee Hardwicke. The intarsia hexagons feature motifs of flowers, leaves and berries celebrating the four seasons. Each charted design is worked twice, then part hexagons are knitted to complete edges of the quilt. The yardage of each colour used varies, depending on the motif. Exact amounts are given in the book but if you don’t have the exact amounts you can easily substitute another colour. The book also includes advice on designing your own charts, with blank hexagons provided to help you on your creative journey, plus details on how to make yarn butterflies.
