Nola A. Heidbreder has been teaching fiber art and handwork for 20 years from her studio in St. Louis, Missouri, and across the country. She has written articles and projects for Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion and Rug Hooking Magazine, as well as co-authoring several books, and has appeared on local and national television news programs.
Linda Pietz learned to knit at the age of four and has spent more than 40 years passing on her love of knitting and other crafts through classes and workshops. She designs patterns for Bucilla, Dimensions, Cat’s Cradle, and other companies, has been featured in several books, has co-authored books with Nola, and has written articles for Rug Hooking Magazine and other national magazines. She lives in northern California. Nola and Linda have collaborated in the past to create Knitting Rugs: 39 Traditional, Contemporary, Innovative Designs, Crocheting Rugs: 40 Traditional, Contemporary, Innovative Designs, and Crochet Baskets: 36 Fun, Funky & Colorful Projects for Every Room in the House.
