The Owen Sweater Pattern
The Owen Sweater by Knitterella. Originally designed to celebrate my youngest turning five, it soon became clear that this sweater needed to become a part of my wardrobe too! The Owen Sweater is a four color, stranded yoke design with contrasting hem and cuffs. Knit in Plucky Knitter Beauregard, this unisex pattern is worked seamlessly from the top-down and offers sizing options from child through adult.
Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in St st and in stranded St st, blocked, using larger needle

Piece is knit in the round from the top down.
Yoke is worked to the underarms, with short-row shaping to shape the lower back Yoke, then Body and Sleeves are divided.
Sleeves are placed on hold while the Body is worked in the round to the bottom edge, then Sleeves are worked in the round to the cuff.
Charts are worked in St st (knit every round).
For short rows, Sample shown uses Japanese short row in the round.
